This could be your opportunity to join our reputable client who is seeking a Waterproofing Estimator to join their team. You would be focusing on waterproofing estimating for high rise, and ICI projects.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for accurately estimating and analyzing costs associated with waterproofing activities for high rise construction.
• Conduct detailed analysis of project plans, specifications, and geotechnical reports to determine the scope of waterproofing work.
• Prepare comprehensive and accurate cost estimates by calculating material volumes, labor requirements, and equipment usage for waterproofing .
• Collaborate with project stakeholders, including engineers, architects, and subcontractors, to gather necessary information and clarify waterproofing project requirements.
• Utilize industry-standard software and tools to perform cost estimations efficiently and ensure accuracy.
• Perform detailed quantity takeoff for excavation materials and negotiate pricing with suppliers and subcontractors.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities through value engineering and propose innovative waterproofing solutions while maintaining project quality and safety.
• Prepare competitive bid proposals based on accurate cost estimations and waterproofing project requirements.
• Maintain organized project files, generate reports on cost estimates and variances, and assist in change order estimates.
• Salary $100k+ depending on experience
  
  

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field preferred.
• Minimum of 4-7 years of experience in waterproofing estimation with waterproofing companies.
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication are required.
• Proficiency in industry-standard estimating software and knowledge of local building codes, regulations, and soil conditions is desired.
