Job Title: Host/Hostess – Full-Time & Part-Time

Location: The Boss, Banff, AB

Wage: $17 – $21/hour + Monthly Gratuities

Position Overview:

We’re looking for friendly, professional, and organized individuals to join our front-of-house team as Hosts/Hostesses. As the first point of contact for our guests, you’ll set the tone for their dining experience by providing a warm welcome and smooth seating process.

What You’ll Do:

• Greet guests promptly and warmly upon arrival
• Manage reservations and waitlists using our booking system
• Communicate effectively with servers and management to ensure smooth service flow
• Keep the host stand and front entry clean, organized, and inviting
• Assist with guest inquiries and provide accurate information about our menu and venue

What We’re Looking For:

• Previous hosting or customer service experience is an asset but not required – we’ll train the right person
• Professional, friendly, and calm under pressure
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Team player with a positive, guest-focused mindset

Details:

• Wage: $17 – $21/hour + monthly gratuities
• Both full-time and part-time positions available (priority for candidates available Mondays–Thursdays)
• Positions start in August, with opportunities for more hours after the summer season
