Where will you be working?

We are currently seeking a Quantity Surveyor (QS) to join our dynamic MEICA team in the South of England. This is a great opportunity to contribute to the successful delivery of infrastructure projects across the UK, while developing your commercial expertise in a supportive and fast-paced environment.

As Quantity Surveyor, you will support the commercial delivery of projects by assisting with cost reporting, contract administration, and change control. You’ll work closely with project teams to ensure financial compliance and help manage risks and opportunities

What will you be doing?

You'll support the project team by managing cost and value reporting to help achieve profit targets. Key duties include preparing CVRs, analysing financial performance, and implementing change control processes. The position works closely with operations to ensure timely processing of changes and monitors live projects for cost-impacting developments. It contributes to risk assessments, aged WIP resolution, and ensures compliance with internal and client procedures. Additional responsibilities include supporting procurement activities, attending commercial meetings, and assisting with Early Warning and Compensation Events. The role also involves reviewing contract documentation and contributing to budget forecasts and margin improvement initiatives.

What You’ll Bring

  • Some experience in a Quantity Surveying role, ideally within utilities or infrastructure
  • Familiarity with NEC contracts
  • Understanding of administrative and operational work activities
  • Awareness of relevant statutory, regulatory, and company policies
  • Knowledge of service delivery within the utilities sector
  • Relevant degree-level qualification or equivalent
