Responsibilities

Maintenance & Repair

• Perform routine inspections, preventative maintenance, and minor repairs across building interiors and exteriors
• Troubleshoot and resolve basic electrical, plumbing, and HVAC issues
• Complete general carpentry, painting, drywall, and light construction tasks
• Maintain exterior areas including landscaping, snow removal, litter pickup, power washing, and window/gutter cleaning
• Ensure all equipment and building systems are operating safely and efficiently

Customer Service & Tenant Support

• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and communicate clearly with tenants
• Deliver high-quality service and maintain positive tenant relationships through responsive problem-solving and follow-through

Contractor Oversight

• Coordinate with and supervise specialized contractors on-site (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, etc.)
• Ensure quality control, safety compliance, and adherence to work specifications

Reporting & Safety

• Maintain daily activity logs and report issues, damage, or required follow-up to the Property Management team
• Adhere to all health and safety policies, procedures, and regulations
• Handle hazardous materials safely and responsibly

Qualifications

• Experience in building maintenance, construction, or skilled trades
• Working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems is an asset
• Ability to prioritize and manage tasks independently
• Strong attention to detail, time management, and communication skills
• Professional demeanor with the ability to interact effectively with tenants, contractors, and property owners
• Physical ability to perform hands-on maintenance work indoors and outdoors
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
• Clean and presentable appearance appropriate for client-facing environments
