As a Prep Cook, You Will
- Complete daily preparation of food
- Ensure food is prepped with a high quality and in a timely fashion
- Maintain the kitchen cleanliness and sanitation
- Organize work areas as well as storage areas
- Maintain a high standard of safety and sanitation
- Communicate with kitchen staff, cooks, sous chef, and the Head Chef
- Follow instructions as directed by Sous Chef or Head Chef
- Assist in all areas of the kitchen as required
- Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards
- Clean kitchen and work area
- Follow all operations policies and procedure
- Work alongside of the restaurant team to establish a safe and fun atmosphere
- Positive and outgoing personality
- Love for building strong relations with team members
- Availability - Mornings, 1 or 2 shifts per week
- Must possess a desire for personal and professional development
- Ability to multitask and maintain high energy in a fast-pace environment
- A desire to have fun a work, when you have fun, our guests do too!
- Cooking or prep experience is an asset
- A culinary diploma or degree is considered an asset
- Bi-weekly kitchen tip out of 5%
