What You’ll Do

  • Documentation Updates: Regular updates to documentation and WIKI pages detailing any important information and new implementation, updates, and upgrades to system architecture, software application and database configuration, code, and functionality.
  • DevOps Updates: Regular updates to DevOps tasks detailing any new implementation, updates, and upgrades to system architecture, software application and database configuration, code, and functionality.
  • Development of new functionalities, enhancements, upgrades, and changes to systems and software applications, including but not limited to:
    • Layout updates
    • New and updated software application source code, scripts, functionalities, components, and configuration
    • New and updated system functionalities, components, and configuration
    • New and updated database scripts, functionalities, components, and configuration
    • New and updated Cloud functionalities, components, and configuration
    • New and updated database or API connections
  • Bug Fixes: Resolution of reported bugs.
  • Knowledge Transfer and Coaching: Conducting knowledge transfer and coaching sessions to share best practices and system insights, including provision of training materials/sessions as may be required.
  • Incident Reports: Detailed reports on incidents, including root cause analysis, resolution steps, and preventive measures.
  • SA&A Documentation and Artefacts: Creation and updates contributing to all cybersecurity requests and requirements, including filling forms and completing documentation to obtain the Authority to Operate (ATO) certificate.

What You'll Need

Mandatory Qualifications

  • Salesforce Platform Developer certification

Required Experience

  • Minimum of ten (10) years of experience within the last 15 years in performing application analysis, design, construction, coding, testing, debugging and documenting
  • Minimum of ten (10) years of experience within the last 15 years in designing applications in an Enterprise-class technical environment of 250 or more users.
  • Minimum of ten (10) years of experience within the last 15 years in analyzing functional requirements to identify information, procedures and decision flows
  • Working with the Canadian Public Sector within the past five (5) years
  • Experience working in at least two (2) of the following Salesforce technologies within the past five (5) years.
    • Salesforce Customer Community / Site
    • Salesforce Platform features
    • Salesforce Lightning
    • Salesforce APEX programming language
    • Salesforce Shield
    • Salesforce Data-loader
  • Experience working in at least one (1) of the following Cloud technologies:
    • Platform as a Service (PaaS)
    • Software as a Service (SaaS)
  • Experience working in Agile Methodology
