Description
As a Quality Coordinator – Rebar Inspector, you are the expert behind the scenes ensuring the quality and accuracy of fabricated rebar, verifying compliance with project specifications, and ensuring that the fabricated materials are ready for shipment. You will work closely with the crew to ensure projects are completed on time, safely, and to the highest standards.
In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with field crews, supervisors, and quality teams to identify and resolve issues early, keep workflows on track, and ensure safety is never compromised. Your sharp eye for detail, commitment to craftsmanship, and ability to coordinate quality efforts help elevate the entire operation — keeping projects on time, on spec, and built to last.
Essential Responsibilities:
$56,000 - $77,000 annually
This is the expected base pay range for this role. Individual base pay will be determined based on a variety of factors including experience, knowledge, skills, education and location.

Essential Responsibilities:
- Thoroughly inspect fabricated rebar to ensure it matches the specifications outlined in the drawings, including dimensions, bends, and cuts
- Inspect rebar to ensure they are correctly placed and of the required quality, verifying they meet project requirements
- Compare the fabricated rebar to the approved shop drawings to ensure accuracy and adherence to project specifications
- Ensure that the correct quantity of correctly fabricated and material is correctly tagged
- Review and interpret plans, blueprints, site layouts, specifications, or construction methods to ensure compliance to legal requirements and safety regulations
- Position and secure steel bars, rods, cables, or mesh in concrete forms, using fasteners, rod-bending machines, blowtorches, or hand tools
- 3+ plus years of experience with finishing & repair of concrete on the site
- Must have an academic degree or professional certification
- Familiarity with building code requirements and access to material standards and reference codes
- Ability to read and interpret machine schematics
- Self-motivated and have a desire to perform at one’s highest level
- Job requires being careful about detail and thorough in completing work tasks
- Demonstrates good problem-solving skills, mechanical aptitude, excellent communication skills
- This is a site based position
