A well-established engineering consulting firm is seeking a Lead Structural Engineer to join their Edmonton office. This is a fully on-site role ideal for someone with either senior-level experience or someone looking to take the next step into leadership.
You’ll be joining a collaborative and experienced team, working on a mix of commercial and industrial building projects, and playing a key role in technical delivery, team support, and client coordination.

You’ll be joining a collaborative and experienced team, working on a mix of commercial and industrial building projects, and playing a key role in technical delivery, team support, and client coordination.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead structural design and analysis for commercial and industrial projects across Alberta
- Oversee project lifecycle from initial concept through to completion, ensuring quality and code compliance
- Collaborate with clients, architects, contractors, and internal design teams
- Review and stamp engineering drawings and reports as required
- Mentor and support junior engineers and designers
- Participate in project planning, resourcing, and technical reviews
- 8-10+ years of structural engineering experience in the building consulting industry
- P.Eng designation in Alberta (or eligibility to register)
- Experience working on commercial and/or industrial structural projects
- Strong knowledge of Canadian Building Codes, standards, and industry practices
- Proficient in structural design software and modeling tools
- Strong leadership, project management, and communication skills
