Reporting to the Vice President, Creditor Insurance, this role will oversee the execution of the creditor initiatives through both direct leadership of the Implementation and Operations Team (including cross functional agile delivery teams) and collaboration with various business stakeholders including distribution and IT. This role is responsible for facilitating the development of the creditor line of business strategy and leading the execution of the strategy as well as developing and implementing client – centric solutions.

This role is responsible for facilitating the development of the creditor line of business strategy and leading the execution of the strategy as well as developing and implementing client – centric solutions.
How You Will Create Impact
- Facilitate the development of the annual and strategic planning with the creditor line of business
- Oversee annual priorities in collaboration with business stakeholders and IT
- In partnership with IT, lead agile delivery teams to stage delivery of solutions aligned to client needs & Creditor business strategy. Lead several Product Owners aligned to agile delivery teams. Work with Program Director to align, develop & build capability in Product Owner role.
- Provide guidance and oversight to ensure departments have access to the business process and technical expertise, knowledge, resources, and support required to maintain production and meet client expectations
- Develop & own Creditor digital strategy, in partnership with distribution & IT
- Identify, assess, and recommend actions, tools, and activities to drive faster adoption, to achieve expected business results and increase utilization and proficiency of stakeholders and employees.
- Translate long-term strategies into short-term goals and objectives for teams, leading a management team in establishing challenging/realistic targets and effective measures/service standards and guiding them in developing and implementing tactical goals.
- You cultivate a client centric culture, drive organizational change and champion innovative thinking.
- You foster sustainable relationships with stakeholders to identify strategies, explore broader solutions and collaboratively resolve contentious issues.
- You build trust with employees and business partners and inspire your team through compelling communication.
- You role model the co-operative values, encourage the development of your leaders and build high performing teams to meet the evolving needs of the organization.
- You are integral in identifying and implementing the long-term vision for the organization and apply a strategic mindset to adjust business priorities based on emerging trends.
- You have 10+ years of progressive experience in insurance operations, with a focus on creditor operations specifically
- You have completed an university degree
- Strong knowledge of project execution and change leadership is an asset
- You have previous digital experience, working in Agile delivery
- You have demonstrated ability to build sustainable relationships with both executive level and with business unit operations
- You have demonstrated ability to build consensus and successfully manage and resolve contentious issues and conflicts
- You are an experienced people leader, well-skilled in leading and influencing leaders and teams that have successfully achieved goals and held high engagement.
