On behalf of our Financial Services client, Procom is searching for a Project Manager / Business Analyst for a 10 month contract role. This position is a hybrid position with 2 days onsite at our client’s Mississauga, ON office.


Project Manager / Business Analyst - Job Description:

The role involves working on the SEC Mandatory US Treasury Cash and Repo Clearing Programme within the front office COO transformation team. The project entails managing a product workstream to ensure business requirements are defined and implemented within regulatory deadlines.


Project Manager / Business Analyst - Responsibilities:

• Manage a product workstream to ensure business requirements are defined and implemented within regulatory deadlines
• Track and report status of plan execution items across deliverables
• Manage project plan and RAID
• Partner with internal stakeholders to ensure end-to-end change impacts are understood and addressed
• Work with Sales/Senior Management to define client migration strategy across business lines
• Drive client migrations of Repo and cash transactions for US Treasury Bonds
• Interact with Clearing Houses to define Clearing Models
  
  
  

Project Manager / Business Analyst - Mandatory Skills:

• Minimum 8 years of experience as an energetic self-starter
• Seasoned project management experience in major/complex institutions
• Experience working with Front Office stakeholders, Trading and Sales, Risk Management, Legal, and compliance
• Strong working knowledge of Markets products and environments
• Strong understanding of applicable regulations and compliance requirements
• Ability to navigate large, complex, diverse teams and stakeholders
• Proficient in using MS Excel for large data sets
  
  
  

Project Manager / Business Analyst – Nice-to-Have Skills:

• Previous experience in working on Legal entity change programmes
• Booking model changes and operating model transformation experience
• Cleared OTC/Listed Derivatives knowledge
• Understanding of CCP Clearing front to back trade process
• Knowledge of equities, securities, tri-party, and Repo activities
