Safety & Compliance Coordinator (Fly-in / Fly-out)

Agilus is recruiting for a Safety & Compliance Coordinator (Fly-in / Fly-out) in the oil & gas industry in Calgary, Alberta.

Our client is seeking a Safety & Compliance Coordinator to join their team on a contract basis. This role is a fly-in / fly-out supporting sites in Fort McMurray, AB. Fly-In/Fly-Out program from Calgary & Edmonton.

A Typical Day

• Steward and promote implementing and utilizing Canadian Natural’s Safety Management System
• Promote and ensure consistency of hygiene, safety systems and radiation program controls for Oil Sands
• Promote Canadian Natural’s front line driven Safety Culture
• Review incident reports, provide feedback and conduct necessary investigations as required
• Attend area safety meetings, pre job safety meetings and conduct periodic inspections to promote a safe working environment in all field areas
• Conduct safety and compliance inspections of facilities, and Worksite Safety Observations of service providers, consultants and operations
  
  

Successful Candidates Will Have

• 5+ years of safety experience in a safety role
• Post-secondary safety education and or professional safety designation is preferred
• Knowledge of the applicable Government regulations
• Previous experience within the Oil & Gas industry
