Key Responsibilities
- Lead project design and development, creating functional and sustainable solutions that align with client needs and community goals
- Oversee commercial projects from concept to completion, ensuring quality, code compliance, and timely delivery
- Collaborate with internal and external teams including engineers, interior designers, and contractors to deliver fully integrated design solutions
- Act as Architect of Record, with the ability to sign and seal drawings
- Cultivate strong relationships with clients and stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle
- Mentor junior staff and contribute to a culture of continuous learning and collaboration
- Support internal operations, firm planning, and participate in business development across BC and beyond
- AIBC Registered Architect (or eligible for registration in BC)
- 10+ years of relevant experience in architectural design and project delivery
- Proven portfolio in institutional (K–12, post-secondary, healthcare) and/or commercial work
- Proficient in Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite
- Knowledge of BCBC, VBBL, and local permitting processes
- Strong communication, coordination, and leadership skills
- Passion for mentoring and developing emerging professionals
- Business development mindset & experience with interest in firm growth initiatives
- Must be legally eligible to work in Canada
