Job Description

We’re seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Farm Administrator to join the team at our Port Elgin Seed Potato Farm in Timber River, NB. This new role will be a critical hub for the farm’s day-to-day administrative operations. Working closely with – and reporting to – the Farm Manager, you’ll be responsible for keeping the office running smoothly and ensuring key business information is well organized.

This role is full time, year-round.

Work Location – 432 Hardy Road, Timber River, NB.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and Organize farm records, including crop, field, inventory, equipment, and safety documentation.
  • Manage data entry and organization for crop planting, monitoring, harvesting, and shipping.
  • Assist with placing, tracking, and processing orders and invoices.
  • Coordinate and Process payroll, seasonal staff schedules, and training records.
  • Handle correspondence, phone calls, and routine reporting.
  • Support seasonal planning activities, presentation prep, and ad hoc reporting.

Qualifications

  • Experience in administration, bookkeeping, or office coordination (agriculture experience is an asset, but not required).
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, deadlines, and details in a dynamic environment.
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office: Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams.
  • Experience with accounting software an asset.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to accuracy in data entry.
  • Willingness to work extended hours and weekends during planting and harvest.
