Picking Supervisor

What You’ll Do

• Help organize daily workflow: organize team players and ensure that employees understand their duties or tasks, quality control, and all required tasks to complete and prepare/process orders for shipping.
• Manages teams responsible for picking plants in the greenhouse for all departments.
• Communicating and coordinating with other departments to ensure that quality plants are picked and available on time to the fulfillment team.
• Support greenhouse operations with sorting, grading and cleaning in the greenhouse.
• Conduct performance reviews for all staff within the department
• Ensure data integrity (UPC/Date coding) is accurate and that plants are being picked from the correct zone/bay
• Ensure work area is clean, organized, and ready both beginning and end of every day
• Be a role model and actively participate in ensuring a safe workplace, addressing safety concerns, compiling incident reporting, etc.
• Willingness to learn and operate motorized equipment.
• Prior knowledge of plants and plant types is beneficial but not required
• Excellent people skills, adaptability, self-directed, organizational skills, problem solving, physically capable of manual labor.
  
  

You’ll Thrive Here If You Are

→ Previous Lead hand or Supervisor experience

→ Willing to learn and operate motorized equipment.

→ Prior knowledge of plants and plant types is beneficial but not required

→ Excellent people skills, adaptability, self-directed, organizational skills, problem solving, physically capable of manual labor.

→ Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities and timelines

→ Familiar with Microsoft Office and production-related software; skilled in data entry and analysis.

Compensation

$22 - $25 per hour
