IWMS Systems Specialist - Archibus

On behalf of our public sector client, Affinity is looking for an IWMS Systems Specialist - Archibus to lead the transformation of their underutilized Integrated Workplace Management System (IWMS). Archibus was implemented but is currently operating at only 2% of its potential. Our client is looking to maximize the system and use it at an enterprise level.

Responsibilities:

• Assess and reconfigure the organization's customized Archibus instance to meet operational and strategic needs.

• Create and update architectural and line drawings to support space planning, capacity planning, and maintenance.

• Validate system data and ensure accurate representation of facilities and assets.

• Activate and optimize the Preventive Maintenance module.

• Deliver tailored training and education to facilities and planning staff to improve system adoption and usage.

• Support reporting efforts for government stakeholders by enabling visual and data-driven insights into completed capital projects.

• Provide recommendations on best practices and alternatives on IWMS platforms.

Qualifications:

• Extensive experience with Archibus implementation, configuration, and optimization.

• Strong understanding of facilities management workflows, including space planning, asset tracking, and maintenance.

• Proficiency in creating and interpreting architectural and line drawings in Revit.

• Experience with the Preventive Maintenance module is a strong asset.

• Exceptional communication and stakeholder engagement skills, especially with non-technical audiences.

• Ability to navigate resistance to change and work effectively with long-tenured staff and leadership.

• Experience in higher education or public sector environments is preferred.
