Senior BA- Life and Annuity Domain

Job Summary -

Seeking an experienced Life and Annuity Senior BA to work in Ingenium migration project. This role requires a deep understanding of the life insurance and annuity industry, excellent Ingenium skills and conversion experience.

Years of experience needed - 10- 15 Years of experience

Key Responsibilities:

• Must have experience on Life Admin Systems/ Life Insurance, Annuity products


• Min 10+ years of experience in development of policy administration system (COBOL - Ingenium)


• Min 10+ years of experience in development/maintenance and Support projects of Ingenium


• Min 8+ yrs of experience in SQL


• Must have good knowledge of Policy Administration System design and architecture


• Must have hand-on experience of Insurance Policy Admin system Migration/Conversion project


• Must be aware of new technologies and market updates with respect to Life and Annuity business


• Participate in project planning sessions with project managers, business analysts and team members to analyze business requirements and design the proposed IT solution.


• Participate in design reviews and provide input to the design recommendations and provide input to information/ data flow, and understand and comply to Project Life Cycle Methodology in all planning steps.


• Adhere to IT Control Policies throughout design, development and testing and incorporate Corporate Architectural Standards into application design specifications.


• Document High Level and Low Level technical specifications.


• Good communication, problem solving & interpersonal skills

Certifications Needed:

• Any Project management / Insurance certifications.


• Having Life insurance certifications such as LOMA will be a added advantage.

Technical Skills:

• COBOL/DB2/VSAM/SQL


• Should be strong in Ingenium.


• Meetings & Reviews , Reporting & Documentation


• Very well versed with tools and techniques for efficient project management and reporting.
