About The Role

ATB is seeking an experienced and innovative Product Manager tolead the development and enhancement of ATB Personal, our online banking application. This role is critical to our digital strategy, focusing on creating a seamless, secure, and user-centric experience for our personal banking customers across Alberta. The ideal candidate will be passionate about mobile technology and the future of personal banking, with a proven track record of bringing successful digital products to market.

Accountabilities

Key Responsibilities

  • Product Strategy & Roadmap: Contribute to the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for ATB Personal, aligning with the bank's overall business objectives and customer needs.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with a cross-functional team of designers, engineers, product managers and stakeholders. Foster a collaborative and agile environment to ensure the timely and high-quality delivery of new features and improvements.
  • Mobile-First Approach: Champion a mobile-first mindset, with a deep understanding of iOS and Android platforms, including their unique capabilities and design patterns. Ensure the app provides a consistent, high-performance experience across both operating systems.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Work closely with legal, compliance, and risk management teams to ensure all product features and processes adhere to Canadian banking regulations and data privacy standards.
  • Performance Analysis: Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of product initiatives. Use data and analytics to make informed decisions and continuously iterate and optimize the user experience.
  • Go-to-Market: Collaborate with marketing and communications teams to develop and execute go-to-market plans for new features, ensuring clear messaging and user adoption.

Qualifications

Skills, experience & requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in product management, with a focus on mobile applications.
  • Experience working on personal banking, fintech, or other highly regulated financial services applications.
  • Demonstrable knowledge of mobile app ecosystems, including a strong grasp of both iOS and Android development lifecycles, app store submission processes, and platform-specific user experience best practices.
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence).
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and align stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Post secondary credentials in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Knowledge of the Canadian banking landscape is considered a strong asset.
