As a Cyber ServiceNow Senior Associate, you will play a crucial role in delivering best-in-class solutions by developing solutions on the ServiceNow platform and implementing the ServiceNow platform for our clients. In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams as a ServiceNow subject matter expert to help clients tailor the ServiceNow platform to their needs and maximize the value of their investment in ServiceNow. The ideal candidate is a detailed problem solver, an excellent communicator, able to translate business challenges into documented requirements and well-versed in database management, coding and APIs. They are excited about how technology and AI can be used to automate work and willing to dive in, learn from and contribute to an elite ServiceNow practice.

Key Responsibilities

  • Functional/Project Management
    • Lead workshops and focus groups to gather detailed requirements.
    • Create detailed functional specifications and process maps.
    • Develop comprehensive test plans and coordinate UAT.
    • Manage stakeholder expectations and ensure alignment with project goals.
    • Develop and implement change management plans.
    • Assist in setting up and configuring basic demo environments and assist in creating demo scripts and scenarios.
    • Develop comprehensive demo plans and coordinate demo sessions. Deliver a basic demo of ServiceNow features as required.
    • Develop and implement pre-sales proposals and presentations.
    • Complete required training and obtain required certifications as assigned.
  • Technical
    • Develop moderately complex ServiceNow solutions, including custom applications, integrations, and solutions using advanced scripting.
    • Implement integrations with third-party systems using REST/SOAP APIs, IntegrationHub, and other relevant technologies.
    • Create user interface components such as service portal widgets, workspaces, custom dashboards and landing pages per requirements.
    • Analyze and troubleshoot complex technical issues, identifying root causes and implementing effective solutions.
    • Conduct peer code review and provide constructive feedback.
    • Perform thorough unit and system integration testing, lead defect resolution for developed components.
    • Develop and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including design specifications and deployment guides.
    • Provide Tier 1-2 technical support for ServiceNow applications, escalating complex issues as needed.
    • Assist in investigating and resolving minor bugs and incidents.
    • Manage update sets, release packaging, and deployments across development, testing, and production environments.
    • Contribute to internal knowledge bases, reusable component libraries, and technical documentation standards.
Required Qualifications

  • Must have the ServiceNow Certified System Administrator certification.
  • Proficiency in leading meetings with clients and translating business requirements into user stories.
  • Proficiency in JavaScript, XML, and other web technologies.
  • Experience with integrating 3rd Party data sources into ServiceNow via service graph connectors or custom integrations via API, Rest, etc.
  • Knowledge and experience working with ITIL-based processes in ServiceNow (Incident, Problem, Change, and Asset Management). Experience with SPM is preferred.
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills and ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues.
  • Familiarity with agile methodologies such as Scrum or SAFe. Experienced with writing user stories and an Agile development lifecycle.
  • Capable and reliable in meeting tight schedules and deadlines as well as high attention to detail while maintaining clear customer expectations throughout the life cycle of a project/engagement.

Education And Experience

  • B.A. or B.S. degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems Management or related field; or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
  • Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience implementing ServiceNow in a fast-paced environment focused on client delivery.
  • Optional certifications: ITIL Foundation v4, ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD).

At RSM, an employee’s pay at any point in their career is intended to reflect their experiences, performance, and skills for their current role. The salary range (or starting rate for interns and associates) for this role represents numerous factors considered in the hiring decisions including, but not limited to, education, skills, work experience, certifications, location, etc. As such, pay for the successful candidate(s) could fall anywhere within the stated range.

Compensation Range: $86,500 - $138,500

Individuals selected for this role will be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on firm and individual performance.
