Northern Health is seeking a skilled and collaborative professional to join our team as Lead, SaferCare Provider Engagement, supporting the successful implementation of clinical transformation initiatives across the region.
Reporting to the Regional Manager, SaferCare, the Lead, SaferCare Provider Engagement (the Lead) consults and partners with a variety of clinical providers including physicians, nurses, and allied health professionals to align their Information Management/Information Technology (IMIT) needs for SaferCare with the services, approaches and support resources provided by the SaferCare project team and provides expert consultative direction to operational, physician, and practice leaders within the designated area of responsibility. The Lead works with clinical and medical staff providers to understand clinical and medical staff IMIT requirements as it relates to clinical system needs, strengthens relationships, and advances the alignment of SaferCare activities. This role is a key contributor to the achievement of SaferCare implementation outcomes and the delivery and execution of the planned clinical transformation in collaboration with the Northern Health Medical Staff leaders.
The Lead collaborates with peers in IMIT, clinical areas, local sites and colleagues in other health authorities. The Lead works closely with the Regional Manager, SaferCare to ensure that the needs, capacities and capabilities of Providers are considered in the system development. The Lead participates as a member of SaferCare governance committees and working groups, regularly attends SaferCare design meetings, and participates in change request and decision-making processes. The Lead develops and recommends new work policies and procedures that impact medical staff. The Lead provides work direction and leadership to staff and works collaboratively with clinical and business stakeholders to support change and is responsible for coordinating user acceptance testing for medical staff.
Starting salary will be approximately from $88,990 to $111,237 and will be based on education, training, experience, and salaries of similar positions.
