Our Corporate Headquarters is looking for an Intern to work on a 12 month contract in the Aftersales Department supporting the BMW Group University. The BMW Group University is responsible for designing and delivering all training programs to BMW, MINI, and BMW i Retailers. The Training Intern is responsible for supporting all functions related to training and the operations of BMW Group University while providing exceptional client support to our Retailer partners, learners and instructors.

About The Position.
Our Corporate Headquarters is looking for an Intern to work on a 12 month contract in the Aftersales Department supporting the BMW Group University. The BMW Group University is responsible for designing and delivering all training programs to BMW, MINI, and BMW i Retailers. The Training Intern is responsible for supporting all functions related to training and the operations of BMW Group University while providing exceptional client support to our Retailer partners, learners and instructors.
Key Responsibilities Include
- Manage training sessions by creating, communicating, rescheduling, and cancelling training sessions in the Learning Management System.
- Managing training enrolments, monitor fill rates for all technical and non-technical courses and communicate with Retailer Training Administrators and Management team to increase enrollments in training sessions.
- Coordinate with external training companies and regional trainers to provide remote logistical, administrative and technical support for in-class and virtual training sessions.
- Provide retailer training session logistics for virtual class training consisting of coordination of pre-work, assessments, tracking attendance and administering electronic feedback surveys.
- Maintain electronic training records and transcripts, learner registrations, course completions, and feedback surveys for instructor and online learning.
- Scheduled, monitor and resolve concerns related to room bookings, vehicle availability, etc.
- Support BMW Group University in auditing Retailers on specific bonus requirements for RBSC.
- Work closely on different topics with the BMW Group University Team to analyze existing business processes and suggestions for possible improvements.
- Prepare Retailers communication.
- Translation and verification of translated materials (FR).
- On-site support during central and / or Regional training events (e.g. New Model Launch drive training events).
- Understanding of the purchasing process and periodic entry of purchase requests.
- Provide troubleshooting support for technical issues for online WBT courses, online quizzes and RBSC training targets in the Learning Management System in a timely manner via phone and TMSi HelpDesk email inbox.
- Assisting with logistical support for local and remote BMW training events.
- Help manage the BMW Group University fleet – location, log sheet, vehicle condition, maintenance, required repairs and storage of vehicles.
- Communicate student travel requirements to travel agency for booking travel and accommodation and confirm itineraries to retailers and students.
- Coordinate classroom reservations, equipment and supplies at the Training Centers.
- Assisting retailer partners with reaching their yearly training targets through effective reporting, client service support and personalized administrator training sessions.
- Managing and preparing certifications/plaques for technical assessments and certification plaques for both non-technical training.
- Generating and distributing adhoc and weekly training reports in MS Excel to Retailers, internal stakeholders, facilitators.
- Prepare ad-hoc reports in MS excel as required.
- Ensure that BMW Group University policies are being followed by the Retailer Network.
- Recent college or university graduate or students currently pursuing post-secondary education.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office with advanced skills in MS Excel (pivot tables, v lookups, formulas, sorting, merging, and filtering).
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to detail and ability to meet aggressive deadlines.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Well-developed verbal and written communication skills.
- Driver’s license (G Class) and clean driving abstract required.
