Job Description:
As an Automotive Finance and Insurance Manager, you will play a pivotal role in assisting our customers with financing options for their vehicle purchases. You will be responsible for structuring financing deals, reviewing credit applications, and ensuring smooth and compliant transaction processes. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment where your expertise will help drive the dealership’s success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work closely with customers to assess their financial needs and provide tailored financing solutions.
- Partner with lenders to secure the best possible loan or lease terms for customers.
- Ensure all paperwork, including credit reports and contracts, are accurate, complete, and comply with all regulations.
- Work closely with the sales team to ensure a smooth and efficient car-buying experience.
- Review customer credit reports and financial information to determine appropriate financing options.
- Maintain knowledge of and ensure compliance with all local, provincial, and federal regulations regarding financing.
- Drive additional dealership profits through the sale of finance-related products such as credit insurance, extended warranties, vehicle protections, etc..
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships by addressing inquiries and ensuring their satisfaction with the financing process.
Qualifications:
- Preferred experience as an Automotive Finance and Insurance Manager or in a similar finance-related role in the automotive industry.
- Strong knowledge of financing products (loans, leases, insurance, etc.) and the ability to explain complex financial concepts clearly to customers.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Knowledge of regulatory compliance and automotive industry standards.
- Proficiency in dealership management systems (DMS) and financial software.
- A strong work ethic and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.
