JOB SUMMARY

The Associate Business Analyst plays a critical role in ensuring master data governance, inventory management, and system integration success at Medline Canada. This position involves supporting master data cleanup, data integrity, and the application of data standards across ERP systems. The role includes active participation in system integration projects, database transitions, product lifecycle management, and automation initiatives, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to improve data quality, streamline workflows, and support business decisions through data analysis and reporting.

CORE JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Maintain and ensure master data integrity across key systems, supporting ongoing data quality initiatives.
  • Assist in master data cleanup efforts, addressing inquiries and resolving system-related issues while ensuring compliance with data governance standards.
  • Support item setup, maintenance, and timely creation of new items in SAP, including sourcing, vendor updates, and pricing changes.
  • Contribute to ERP database transition activities such as data validation, synchronization, and user acceptance testing to support seamless system integration.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to define and implement data strategies, policies, and master data governance processes.
  • Analyze data, perform gap analyses, and develop automation solutions (using Python, SQL, and tools like Winshuttle Studio) to enhance inventory management and reporting efficiencies.
  • Create meaningful BI visualizations and reports using tools to support stakeholder decision-making.
  • Communicate effectively within a dynamic team environment, supporting continuous improvement and compliance initiatives.


QUALIFICATIONS

  • 1–3 years of relevant experience preferred; includes prior internships, co-op terms, or project-
  • Undergraduate degree in the field of information science, data management, computer science or related field preferred.
  • based experience in system integration, data governance, or inventory management.
  • Experience with SAP (required).
  • Proficiency in Python and SQL for data manipulation, analysis, and automation (required).
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with other MS Office applications (Access, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Experience with BI reporting tools such as Power BI, Tableau, KNIME.
  • Familiarity with automation tools like Winshuttle Studio is a plus.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, hybrid work environment.
