Pursuing a career as a Senior Estate Planning Drafting Advisor at National Bank Financial (NBF) means being at the heart of our client advice center and working in collaboration with our various estate planning specialists (lawyers and notaries) in order to serve the NBF Quebec clientele. You play the key role of trusted partner to estate planners, particularly in drafting recommendations and providing advice to be offered to the clients of investment advisors and the NBF.
The sector's mission is to offer high-quality expertise and services in matters of inheritance, retirement and taxation.
Your job:
- Become one of the references in estate planning for the client advisory team of one of the largest asset management firms in Quebec!
- Support the team's lawyers and notaries in their mandates with investment advisors, particularly for the preparation of complex files, the analysis of legal documents, legal research but above all, the drafting of detailed estate recommendations adapted to the needs of every high net worth client
- Be a team player, maintain relationships with numerous internal stakeholders
- Manage several complex files with tight deadlines in a constantly evolving environment
- Maintain internal visibility and create strong interpersonal connections
- Be at the cutting edge of new developments in your sector of activity

Prerequisites:
- Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience
- Knowledge of estate planning concepts, probate, trusts and administration of property of others
- Strong legal writing skills
- Rigorous, autonomous, organized, good spirit of synthesis
Desired skills:
- Knowledge in taxation
- Experience within a trust company or within a portfolio management company
- Good communication skills and able to popularize complex concepts
- Ability to adapt to change and work in an environment with multiple stakeholders
