Job Description
Market, customer & competitive insight
- Stay close to our buyers and users—interview customers, analyze win/loss data, monitor community channels—to understand their jobs-to-be-done, pain points and buying triggers.
- Track the competitive landscape (direct and adjacent) and synthesize implications for positioning, pricing, packaging, and roadmap priorities.
- Craft crisp, differentiated positioning and messaging for products/capabilities and ensure it ladders up to the Rewind brand narrative.
- Build and maintain customer and persona profiles and buyer journeys with actionable insights for Sales and Demand Gen.
- Own launch plans for features , product enhancements, and partner launches; coordinate timelines, deliverables, and cross-functional stakeholders.
- Partner with Demand Gen and Content to brief, create, and distribute assets (emails, landing pages, ads, videos, webinars, collateral, etc.).
- Enable Sales/CS with pitch decks, battlecards, talk tracks, objection handling, and competitive intel updates.
- Define success metrics for your launches and campaigns; partner with RevOps to track performance and surface insights.
- Test and iterate messaging, offers, and channels based on data and feedback.
- Be the day-to-day PMM contact for your product area(s), ensuring Product, Sales, CS, and Marketing are aligned on priorities and narratives.
- Contribute to the “voice of PMM” across internal communications channels and events
- Contribute to thought leadership (blog posts, webinars, events/speaking opportunities) alongside the Senior PMM and Product team.
- Buyer personas and journeys are documented, socialized, and used by cross-functional teams.
- Launches for your product area ship on time with clear goals and objectives, coordinated assets, and measurable results.
- Sales/CS can confidently articulate Rewind’s value props using the tools you created.
- Messaging tests show measurable improvement in conversion or engagement.
- Competitive and market signals proactively inform roadmap and campaign plans.
Must-haves
- 3–5 years of product marketing experience in B2B SaaS (startup or scale-up strongly preferred).
- Demonstrated ability to turn customer/market research into positioning, messaging, and GTM plans.
- Strong writer and storyteller with a knack for simplifying technical concepts.
- Experience partnering with Product, Sales, Support, and Demand Gen teams.
- Comfortable in a fast-paced, resource-constrained environment—you can prioritize ruthlessly and execute quickly.
- Data-curious: you know what to measure, how to interpret it, and when to pivot.
- Familiarity and proficiency in working with AI to drive work efficiency
- Experience marketing to technical audiences (developers, IT, security) and/or commerce platforms like Shopify.
- Familiarity with pricing/packaging projects or product-led growth motions.
- Public speaking or webinar hosting experience.
