Role Overview

Accounting professionals are needed for a project focused on advancing AI systems that replicate real-world accounting workflows across Corporate Accounting, Audit, Tax, and Financial Reporting. The role involves evaluating, testing, and refining AI-generated outputs derived from SEC filings, audits, financial close processes, tax compliance, and management reporting.

Key Responsibilities

• Review AI-generated accounting outputs for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with GAAP, IFRS, and regulatory frameworks.
• Calibrate AI decision-making in journal entry preparation, reconciliations, and variance analysis.
• Simulate and audit workflows related to consolidations, tax filings, and internal controls.
• Provide expert feedback on financial statements, disclosures, audit papers, and management reports.
• Collaborate asynchronously with AI and product teams to refine systems using accounting best practices.

Ideal Qualifications

• 2+ years of professional experience at Big Four firms or in corporate accounting/finance.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; Master’s or MBA with accounting concentration preferred.
• CPA, CA, or CMA certification strongly valued.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, IFRS, and financial reporting standards.
• Expertise in accounting processes such as month-end close, reconciliations, revenue recognition, lease accounting, and tax compliance.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills.

Project Details

• Remote and asynchronous; flexible schedule.
• Commitment: ~20 hours/week (with potential to scale).

Compensation & Contract

• $70/hour.
• Independent contractor engagement.
• Weekly payments via Stripe Connect.
