Job Title: ERP Program Data Migration Lead
Location: Hybrid – 700 U (2 days remote), Base: CHQ (rotating schedule from Aug 25)
Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly experienced ERP Program Data Migration Lead to drive the planning, governance, and execution of data migration activities across enterprise transformation programs, including SAP S/4HANA, Asset Suite 9, and ECC initiatives. The successful candidate will provide technical leadership, ensure data integrity, and align migration efforts with OPG’s broader data architecture, governance, and analytics ecosystem
Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the development and execution of enterprise data migration strategies for ERP, cloud, analytics, and business platform projects
• Coordinate data migration across Finance, SCM, and EAM functional domains, leveraging industry-leading tools for data profiling, lineage, and quality (e.g., Collibra, Data Lake platforms)
• Utilize ERP connectors and integration technologies for robust data extraction, validation, reconciliation, and automated quality checks
• Oversee comparison of legacy and target systems, ensuring completeness, accuracy, and auditability at each migration checkpoint
• Collaborate with technology teams to select and implement data management solutions that complement existing governance frameworks and analytics platforms
• Partner with business data owners and SMEs to define data stewardship, sign-off processes, and ongoing quality monitoring
• Ensure secure and compliant data movement across on-premise and cloud environments, in collaboration with infrastructure and security teams
• Develop dashboards and reports to track migration progress, data quality metrics, and readiness for go-live
• Align data migration, cutover, and fallback strategies with OPG’s enterprise data landscape, working closely with system integrators, legacy system teams, and platform architects
• Contribute to solution architecture and configuration, ensuring scalability, compliance, and best practices for future technology investments

Qualifications:

• 10+ years of experience in data management, with 5+ years leading data migration for large-scale enterprise transformation projects
• Deep understanding of S/4HANA data architecture, SAP MDG, and cross-platform data integration, especially in Finance, SCM, and EAM
• Proven experience with data governance and migration tools, including Collibra, Data Lake technologies, and ERP integration/connectors
• Expertise in automated data validation, metadata comparison, and ensuring data integrity throughout migration lifecycle
• Strong analytical, leadership, and stakeholder engagement skills

Education & Certifications:

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, IT, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field (advanced degree preferred)
• SAP certifications in Data Migration, S/4HANA System Administration, or Master Data Governance
• Data governance or management certifications (COMP/DAMA, Collibra Ranger, Informatica Certified Professional) are an asset
• Cloud data engineering certifications (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) highly valued
• Project management or agile certifications (PMP, PRINCE2, Scrum Master, SAFe) are a plus

Core Competencies:

• Business process expertise in Finance, SCM, and EAM
• Strong understanding of enterprise data governance, lineage, and analytics integration
• Skilled in technology selection and alignment with enterprise data strategies
• Proven success in leading complex, cross-functional delivery initiatives
