Location: CHQ - Oshawa, ON(Hybrid – 2 days remote)
Position Overview
We are seeking two Maintenance Planning Officers to support the implementation of Renewable Generation (RG) Preventative Maintenance (PM) programming changes as part of the Preventative Maintenance Excellence (PME) initiative This role will focus on programming and optimizing preventative maintenance work packages within Asset Suite 9 (AS9) to ensure RG stations and regions operate with high reliability, efficiency, and compliance. The successful candidates will work closely with maintenance staff, the Preventative Maintenance Review Board (PMRB), and other stakeholders to plan, schedule, track, and report on PM program changes
Key Responsibilities
  • Develop model work order packages for execution by RG maintenance teams
  • Program model work orders into the Asset Suite 9 Work Management Module for multiple RG stations and regions
  • Track progress of AS9 Work Management programming changes approved by the PMRB
  • Initiate and monitor Preventative Maintenance Modification Requests through Engage software
  • Prepare and deliver status updates to key stakeholder groups, including PME meetings and PMRB sessions
  • Create and maintain reports, metrics, dashboards, and recommendations to support PME objectives
  • Ensure planning and scheduling activities align with organizational standards, safety requirements, and best practices in renewable generation maintenance
Qualifications
  • Minimum Grade 12 education plus up to two years of post-secondary study in a related field, or equivalent experience
  • Completion of a trades apprenticeship or formal operating training
  • Proven experience in thermal, hydroelectric, or nuclear generating stations
  • Proficiency with the Asset Suite 9 Work Management Module for planning and scheduling tasks
  • Strong organizational, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a hybrid work environment
