Job Description And Responsibilities

We’re looking for an experienced HVAC Mechanic to join our Interpro Pipe & Steel team at our Regina location. This is a hands-on role where your expertise will keep our heating, ventilation, and cooling systems running at peak performance.

In this role, you’ll work with a variety of equipment and tools, including heating and cooling units, ventilation systems, welding/brazing equipment, refrigerants, power and hand tools, air compressors, and more. You’ll take pride in ensuring our systems operate safely, efficiently, and reliably.

What You’ll Do

  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical specifications
  • Measure and lay out reference points for installation work
  • Assemble and install HVAC components such as motors, controls, gauges, valves, pumps, condensers, humidifiers, evaporators, and compressors
  • Install, troubleshoot, and overhaul complete heating, ventilation, air handling, refrigeration, and air conditioning systems
  • Recharge systems with refrigerant, check and test regulators, and calibrate controls
  • Follow and maintain a preventative maintenance schedule
  • Diagnose, repair, and replace parts and components as needed
  • Prepare accurate work estimates

Requirements

  • Red Seal Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Mechanic Certification

Hourly Rate

$50.30/hr
