About The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Operations Lead to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering data-driven solutions that support business growth, improve operational efficiency, and drive strategic initiatives. This role will play a critical part in ensuring seamless data flow, optimising workflows, and providing data-driven insights to support business decisions.

What will your day look like? You will…

  • Develop strategic principles and frameworks to support optimal decision making across business functions
  • Build knowledge of our technology stack and data flows to align data with business context, enabling teams to solve complex business challenges
  • Work with the broader business functions to evaluate key business drivers and trends, support metric and dashboard development and provide reporting on operational performance
  • Build strong relationships with a broad set of cross-functional stakeholders , including teams across Insurance, Partner Services, Compliance, Data Science, Partnerships and Pricing teams to streamline processes, optimise workflows, and support efficient use of resources
  • Work directly with our captive insurance company to support reporting and underwriting performance management
  • Project manage data driven initiatives and provide support such as facilitating workshops and internal training
  • Collaborate with and educate stakeholders around data governance policies and procedures enabling consistent and standardised use of data across business functions
  • Work with our Data Engineering team to enable data driven solutions cross functionally

To Help Us Level Up, You'll Ideally Have

  • 2+ years of experience in a data related role
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
  • Experience in the development and execution of data-related projects
  • Understanding of data operations, data governance, and data management principles
  • Experience with data integrations, data validation, and data quality checks
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to present the complex clearly and concisely
  • Strong SQL proficiency and database infrastructure knowledge required. Experience with Python/R or other statistical programming languages is a bonus
  • Excellent data analysis and visualisation skill
  • The ability to build effective working relationships with stakeholders from a range of backgrounds and levels of seniority
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving with an enthusiasm to drive data-driven decision-making
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment managing multiple priorities and deadlines
