Education: high school

Qualifications:

Preferred but NOT required:

  • Prior work in retail e.g Zara, The Bay, Aldo, etc
  • Prior work in a healthcare setting (e.g. medical, physiotherapy, massage, chiro)
  • Familiarity with MVA billing and Telus Portal

Skills:

Preferred but NOT required:

  • Prior work in retail e.g Zara, The Bay, Aldo, etc

  • Familiarity with MVA billing and Telus Portal

Responsibilities:

  • Make a positive and lasting impression on the patient, from the moment they arrive at the practice to the moment they leave
  • Responsible for optimizing the appointment schedule by ensuring the day is full, with limited gaps
  • Manage patient calls and inquiries with a smile
  • Book appointments and manage potential cancellations and overcome objections to motivate the patient to keep the appointment
  • Take payment from patients as they come out of the treatment room
  • Assist with the smooth day-to-day operations of the clinic
  • Attend and actively participate in team meetings
