We are looking for an Assistant Controller to join our EMEA-B2C Finance team. This position reports to the Broadcast Controller.

We are looking for an Assistant Controller to join our EMEA-B2C Finance team. This position reports to the Broadcast Controller.

Your day-to-day
- Prepare, coordinate, and oversee month-end closings and the accounting cycle
- Prepare certain month-end transactions and financial analyses (monthly income statement analysis)
- Support AR analysts and specialists with analysis and estimates
- Prepare supporting documentation for monthly financial reports (including schedules for balance sheet accounts)
- Review VAT reports, bank reconciliations, accounts payable and receivable reconciliations, intercompany transactions, commission reports, and foreign exchange rate revaluations
- Support the preparation of the annual group audit and statutory audits of international companies
- Prepare analyses for various ad-hoc projects and other financial requests
- Collaborate with other departments to improve procedures
- Bilingual, with 80% of the role conducted in English
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field with a concentration in accounting
- Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience
- Proficiency in Excel
- Knowledge of Netsuite software
- Previous experience at a Big 4 accounting firm
- Familiarity with Power Query
