Description
As a Claims Administrator you will work closely with the members of the Claims team to drive daily administrative tasks. The primary responsibility of this position is daily maintenance of all required office and claims administration (filing, purging, department email box, scanning and indexing mail, mail correspondence as needed) in accordance with the certificate provisions.

Description
As a Claims Administrator you will work closely with the members of the Claims team to drive daily administrative tasks. The primary responsibility of this position is daily maintenance of all required office and claims administration (filing, purging, department email box, scanning and indexing mail, mail correspondence as needed) in accordance with the certificate provisions.
What You Will Do
- Daily maintenance of all required office and claims administration (filing, purging, department email box, scanning and indexing mail, mail correspondence as needed).
- Coordinating and administration of new claims (possibly TPA). Document applicable notes and set follow-up reminders accordingly.
- Receive work items from adjudicators and handle to completion.
- Track all assigned invoices and document as required.
- Request and track customer information from business partners required for claims processing.
- Monitor queues daily and distribute work items accordingly.
- PCI compliance: Verify and track incoming correspondence within industry (PCI) requirements.
- Support team by answering questions and assisting team members with inquiries.
- Maintains up to date knowledge of company’s products and services.
- Post secondary education preferred.
- Strong analytical skills, orientation to detail.
- 6 months of experience in a similar position in insurance, banking or financial industry preferred.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively.
- Ability to work independently and thrive in a fast pace work environment.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite.
- Excellent formal written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to remain calm and objective.
- Strong learning skills; curiosity.
- Punctuality and reliability in work attendance.
