Business Analyst

On behalf of our client, Affinity is seeking an experienced Business Analyst to support a variety of AI initiatives to help shape & enable the use of AI across the organization. The candidate will report to the Director, Enterprise Architecture, and is a critical thinker who can bridge the gap between business stakeholders and the technical team to ensure the solution aligns and is configured to meet business needs.

Key Responsibilities:

· Supports the Program Manager, Artificial Intelligence

· Design, develop, and configure AI solutions to meet business and user requirements.

· Create, execute, and document test cases/test scripts to validate system changes, and provide a framework to support end-user acceptance testing

· Works with multiple partners and vendors to ensure project deliverables are consistent and meets documentation standards.

· Gathers and documents business requirements, technical requirements, and process maps from stakeholders

· Assists with the creation of project plans and related project management deliverables.

· Assists with the management of project schedules, coordinates recurring meetings, producing minutes & tracking action items.

· Maintains the program Risk, Action, Issues and Decision (RAID) log.

· Prepares program status reports and assists with creation of steering committee presentations working with other members of the program team.

· Is a liaison between partner teams and internal project stakeholders.

· Other duties as required

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, commerce, information technology, information systems, data & analytics, or related field;
• Experience working with stakeholders in real estate investment, property management, portfolio management, accounting, finance, or valuations functions.
• Experience partnering with executive-level leaders to identify and solve business issues.
• Experience with AI is helpful, but not mandatory.
• Experience with Microsoft’s Power Platform, Agentic AI, Azure Foundry are nice to have
• Knowledge of artificial intelligence, machine learning, and familiarity with industry trends around AI is a strong asset.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, coupled with flexibility to pivot in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  
  

Top Skills Necessary

· Business Analysis - 5+ years of experience as a business analyst, including gathering, clearly documents, and analyzes the business needs and translates them into functional (system workflows, reporting, business rules, etc.) and technical (performance needs, security, integration methods, etc.) requirements for the technology solution.

· Project Documentation – 5+ years leading and/or assisting with the creation of business cases, ROIs, and other project-related documentation, as required, with input from key business stakeholders.

· Certifications – Have achieved professional certifications such as CBAP.
