Client Service Administrator

(Internal Title: Administration Analyst 2)

Special Market / Vancouver / Temporary Role – 6 Months / On-Site

The Client Service Administrator (internally referred to as Administration Analyst 2) will collaborate with their team to monitor and analyze various types of insurance applications, including underwritten applications and related requests. They play a key role in the successful execution of both divisional and individual bill runs on a monthly basis. The incumbent is also expected to be familiar with the responsibilities of the Analyst 1 role and provide support when needed. This position requires on-site presence five days a week to our office.

The role demands a strong understanding of product and process knowledge to ensure accurate and timely administration of policies within the line of business. The ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team is essential.

Key Responsibilities and Performance Expectations:

  • Process and administer insurance applications in accordance with established guidelines and service level agreements.
  • Analyze submitted applications and coordinate with underwriting team members regarding medical and paramedical exam requirements. Manage correspondence with applicants or third-party administrators as needed.
  • Support customer service team members with administrative processes and requests.
  • Communicate with plan administrators and plan members as required.
  • Execute and distribute individual and divisional bill runs. Ensure accuracy by applying analytical thinking and cross-referencing with known processes, issues, and upcoming changes.
  • Handle operational correspondence with third-party vendors and service providers, including the Medical Information Bureau, Dynacare, and healthcare professionals.
  • Maintain a high level of performance, demonstrating the ability to multitask, adapt to shifting priorities, and communicate effectively to meet objectives.
  • Apply critical and analytical thinking during key periods such as monthly bill runs, policy renewals, high-profile client onboarding or termination, and organizational restructuring.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Proficiency in MS Windows-based applications, including Word and Excel
  • Excellent data entry skills with a focus on speed and accuracy
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrates autonomy and resilience in a fast-paced environment, with the ability to manage competing priorities effectively
  • Previous office experience (an asset)
  • Strong attention to detail

Compensation:

The typical hiring range for this position is $50,000 to $55,000 CAD annually. The base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, years of experience, and internal equity.
