- Relationship Management
- Active listening skills, paying attention to what the hiring managers are saying, asking questions, and showing interest in their hiring challenges.
- Clear and timely communication
- Co-creating effective recruitment strategies with your hiring managers
- Experience building trusted partnerships in a matrix organization
- Talent Sourcing and Acquisition:
- Collaborate with hiring managers and department heads to define job requirements and staffing needs.
- Utilize various recruitment channels, including job boards, social media, networking, and referrals, to source potential candidates.
- Conduct candidate interviews and assessments to evaluate qualifications, skills, and cultural fit.
- Intentionally practice inclusive recruitment to hire a reflection of the market that Lifemark serves.
- Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, from job posting to offer acceptance.
- Candidate Engagement:
- Create a positive candidate experience by providing timely and transparent communication throughout the hiring process.
- Build and maintain relationships with candidates to nurture talent pipelines for future needs.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant employment laws and regulations during the recruitment process, including protecting sensitive information about job applicants and existing employees from being disclosed to unauthorised parties.
- Recruitment Strategy:
- Develop and implement innovative recruitment strategies to attract diverse and high-calibre candidates.
- Analyze recruitment data and metrics to identify areas for improvement and optimize the hiring process.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to enhance the recruitment function.
- Employer Branding:
- Promote Lifemark Health Group as an employer of choice by showcasing our culture, values, and career opportunities.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to create compelling employer branding content.
- Act as a brand ambassador, educating and enabling hiring managers to attract the talent they seek to acquire.
- Onboarding and Integration:
- Collaborate with HR and hiring managers to ensure a smooth onboarding process for new hires.
- Monitor the progress of new employees during their initial months and support their integration into the organization.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field.
- Proven experience in corporate recruitment (3+ years), preferably in the healthcare industry
- Strong knowledge of recruitment best practices, including sourcing techniques and candidate assessment.
- Bilingual English and French
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in applicant tracking systems (ATS) and HR software. We use ADP.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Understanding of employment laws and regulations.
- This role is required to be in-office 4-days per week at our offices in North York
