Sales Representative

We are seeking a results-driven Sales Representative to join our client’s team in Cambridge, ON

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the food manufacturing and foodservice sector.
• Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with clients.
• Conduct product presentations, plant visits, and trade show participation to promote offerings.
• Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms to achieve sales targets and ensure client satisfaction.
• Collaborate with internal teams (production, logistics, and customer service) to meet client needs.
• Maintain accurate sales records and update CRM systems regularly.
• Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to develop effective sales strategies.
• Prepare and deliver sales reports to management on progress and performance.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, Food Science, or a related field (preferred).
• 2–5 years of sales experience in the food manufacturing or foodservice industry.
• Strong understanding of the food production process and supply chain logistics.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple client accounts.
• Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Willingness to travel for client meetings, trade shows, and plant visits as required.
