Investor Relations Associate:

On behalf of our Financial Services client, Procom is searching for an Investor Relations Associate for a permanent role. This position is a hybrid position with 4 days onsite at our client’s Toronto office.


Investor Relations Associate - Job Description:

The role focuses on raising capital for Mortgage Income Funds, which are private investment vehicles. The Investor Relations Associate will engage with potential and existing investors to promote these funds, aiming to increase investment and manage investor relationships.


Investor Relations Associate - Responsibilities:

• Develop a strong understanding of client's business and investment vehicles
• Present mortgage income funds to various stakeholders, including retail investors and financial advisors
• Expand and maintain a proprietary investor list with organizational support
• Organize meetings and presentations for investors
• Represent the company at events and conferences to solicit investment
• Assist investors through the subscription process and account setup
• Achieve capital raising targets
• Perform regulatory functions and documentation for onboarding investors
• Act as a contact point for inbound investment-related inquiries
• Participate in distributing monthly reports and other investor communications
• Support marketing activities to generate interest in investment vehicles
• Complete weekly reports and record lead generation and closing activities
  
  
  

Investor Relations Associate - Mandatory Skills:

• 1-2 years of professional experience in sales or business development
• Detail-oriented with process documentation skills
• Completion or working towards the Canadian Securities Course or IFSE Exempt Market Proficiency Course
• Willing to meet clients and attend events outside standard hours
• Strong sales and networking skills
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• High proficiency in Word, Outlook, and CRM systems

• Previous experience in financial services, investment, or real estate
• Car ownership for in-person client meetings
• Willingness to be enrolled as a Dealing Representative
• Strong client service skills
