Job Duties & Responsibilities
- Full cycle payroll process using a third-party payroll service (Rise People), assuring compliance with all applicable federal and provincial regulations and company policies.
- All assigned administrative duties that support and develop the Human Resources department.
- Admin duties include but are not limited to the filing/scanning of correspondence, employee documentation, such as benefits and other records.
- Post Secondary Diploma in Accounting or Human Resources.
- 5+ years’ Canadian payroll experience is a must (preferably the Western Canadian provinces).
- Working towards a PCP or CHRP designation would be an asset.
- Previous experience with benefits is an asset.
- Proven ability to build strong working relationships.
- Experience with payroll systems, internal controls, and human resources.
- Great time management and computer skills.
- Always seeking ways to improve processes to promote technology.
- Able to break down complex problems, identify issues and develop solutions.
- Can stay focused in a changing environment.

- Must be very detail oriented with capturing data and preparing correspondence.
