Hydro-Québec dam construction site- /14 -7 days off at camp (accommodation & meals provided) – Bersimis-2

As a excavator operator within the Pomerleau civil engineering & infrastructure team, you will have to work closely with all workers to ensure the coordination and execution of the work. Working on large-scale construction projects - ranging from $1.5 million to over a billion dollars - you will have the opportunity to contribute to the productivity and efficiency of work on our sites.

What You Will Do

• Perform excavation, demolition, preparation, reconstruction, trenching, backfilling, grading and landscaping, shoreline work, barge work, handling (loading/unloading), etc.
• Adhere to safety procedures to ensure compliance with company and construction industry standards;
• Work as part of a team, maintaining a pleasant and trusting work environment, collaborating and communicating effectively with colleagues and other trades on site;
• Care for and maintain equipment;
• Perform all other related tasks.
  
  

This Role Is Made For You If You Have

• A valid CCQ excavator operator's card
• A valid ASP Construction & WHMIS 2015 card
• A DEP in mechanical shovel operation or equivalent experience
• Valid Class 5 driver's license
• A minimum of 5 years' experience
• Experience with the Trimble GPS system.
