Sturgeon Public Schools is currently seeking a Full-Time Temporary Junior High Teacher to work with the team at Sturgeon Heights School.
Sturgeon Heights School is located within the city of St. Albert boundary and is a Kindergarten to Grade 9 school with approximately 450 students. Sturgeon Heights School encourages students to be critical thinkers, engaged in their own learning environment, and creative with their problem-solving.
Assignment: 1.0 FTE; Full-Time Temporary Junior High Social, Science, Health, CTF & Phys. Ed.

Qualifications
- Bachelors of Education
- Understanding and application of formative and summative assessment
- Understanding and application of differentiated instruction as part of an inclusive learning environment
- Excellent understanding of inquiry learning and teaching through a student-centered approach
- Positive classroom management as part of a safe and caring school
- Proficiency in the use of educational technology
