Your Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the development of conceptual, preliminary, and detailed designs for the full range of civil/municipal infrastructure including water distribution, sanitary sewer collection systems, pump stations, stormwater management, roadway systems, and site development;
- Prepare drawing packages for a wide range of projects;
- Support the day-to-day activities of projects from inception through engineering, construction and contract administration;
- Provide resident services on construction sites with the support of senior team members;
- Perform Site inspections and reviews;
- Carry out data collection activities including topographic survey and infrastructure investigations; and
- Prepare technical reports and cost estimates.
- A diploma in Civil Engineering Technology preferred;
- One (1) to Five (5) years of experience;
- Thorough working ability with Civil 3D and AutoCAD software with above average drawing production capabilities, knowledge of Infraworks would be considered an asset;
- Ability to complete quantity take-offs;
- Proficient at working diligently to meet time-sensitive deadlines;
- Knowledge on piped systems would be considered an asset;
- Working knowledge of GIS would be considered an asset;
- Surveying skills (GPS and total station) would be considered an asset;
- Experience working in a consulting environment would be considered an asset; and
- Hold a valid driver’s license, have reliable transportation, and willingness to travel to job sites.
