We are currently looking for a full-time float/breaker for our out of school care (OSC), program!

Responsibilities
- Maintain documentation, reporting and record keeping
- Implement a Reggio Emilia approach to learning
- Support children’s emotional, physical, or behavioural well being; while helping to develop their social, emotional, cognitive and physical skills
- Maintain attendance, and health and safety checks
- Work with professionals, such as Speech Therapists, Occupational Therapists, and Early Interventionists as necessary
- Support children through transitions in and out of the classrooms
- Participate and interact in team meetings and workshops
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate at all levels with children, parents and co-workers.
- Ability to utilize computer systems for all documentation, reporting, and classroom operations
- Strong collaborator and team player
- Ability to take initiative in and out of the classroom
- Strong problem-solving skills
- British Columbia ECEA or ECE license
- Criminal Record Check
- Valid Standard Child Care First Aid and CPR
- Immunizations up to date
- Ability to push, pull, and lift up to 45 pounds
