We are looking for a Manager to join our SR&ED Tax practice, with a focus on Information Technology and other high-tech sectors—a role where your expertise will drive meaningful outcomes and your ambition will help shape what comes next. Your role:

• Conduct interviews with clients in the IT and high-tech sectors to identify SR&ED-eligible software development, system architecture, AI/ML, cloud computing, and other advanced technology projects.
• Prepare technical narratives for SR&ED tax credit claims, including identifying relevant developers, engineers, subcontractors, and materials, and estimating effort levels.
• Assist clients during CRA technical reviews and respond to CRA correspondence related to the technical aspects of SR&ED claims.
• Collect and organize supporting documentation from clients for claim preparation.
• Participate in sales and business development activities alongside SR&ED practice leaders.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
  
  
  

What you bring to the table:

• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related high-tech discipline; a Master’s degree is an asset.
• 5+ years of relevant industry experience, including at least 1 year of SR&ED tax credit preparation experience in the IT or high-tech space.
• Strong understanding of software development lifecycles, programming methodologies, and emerging technologies (e.g., AI, blockchain, cloud infrastructure).
• Excellent technical writing and analytical skills, with the ability to clearly articulate complex software and technology concepts.
• High attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines with minimal supervision.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• A collaborative mindset and the ability to build strong client relationships.
• Adaptability and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
