Career Opportunity

Our subsidiary, KJ Harrison & Partners, is seeking an experienced and highly organized Private Client Associate to support a Portfolio Manager in delivering exceptional service to high-net worth and high-profile clients. This role is a combination of relationship management support, portfolio administration, operational execution, and scheduling, all within a collaborative team environment. The ideal candidate requires a strong attention to detail, professionalism and a client-first mindset.

Administrative Tasks

You will be responsible for:

  • Enhancing advisor’s effectiveness by providing information management support;
  • Fostering and supporting client relationships by liaising with clients, responding to requests and proactive problem solving;
  • Opening accounts and managing documentation requirements;
  • Processing and following up on account opening, transfer and other type of requests;
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date client files;
  • Scheduling and coordinating meetings, appointments, and calendar activities;
  • Assisting in the preparation for client meetings;
  • Answering phone calls promptly, screen calls and redirect appropriately;

Event Planning

  • Planning, executing, and attending client events such as seminars, workshops, and appreciation gatherings;
  • Coordinating event logistics, including venue selection, catering, and guest communications;
  • Liaising with the third party Marketing agency and coordinating as required;
  • Managing event budgets and ensuring all activities are cost-effective and within financial guidelines;
  • Representing the Investment Advisor & Team at events and networking functions;

Office Management

  • Managing office supplies and ensuring all necessary materials are stocked and organized;
  • Serving as office point of contact for building directed maintenance and workplace related requests;
  • Maintaining office premises standards for appearance, client requirements and day to day operations.

The Ideal Candidate For This Position Has

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office particularly Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Outlook;
  • Proven verbal and written communication skills;
  • Ability to learn quickly and identify opportunities to add value;
  • Strong organizational skills;
  • Meticulous attention to detail;
  • Superior customer service skills;
  • Ability to prioritize, multitask, work within time constraints and follow-up;
  • Ability to work in a team environment and demonstrate a professional and friendly manner;
  • Minimum of 2-years investment industry experience an asset.

Salary Range: $55,000 – $65,000 per annum (actual salary offered will be commensurate with education, experience, and internal parity).
