We are seeking a Transition Portfolio Manager to join our Toronto location. This role represents a unique and exciting opportunity for the successful candidate to join a team that invests across a broad global mix of private market products including private equity, real estate, private credit and infrastructure. The Harbourfront Portfolio Management team employs a holistic approach to its alpha-generating strategies, applying both quantitative and fundamental techniques.

You Will Be Responsible For
- Meet with high-net-worth clients to understand their financial goals and objectives, while introducing them to Harbourfront’s full range of wealth management solutions.
- Serve as a subject matter expert on Harbourfront’s products and services, supporting both clients and advisors with expert insights.
- Deliver thoughtful market commentary to help clients interpret portfolio performance in the context of broader economic trends.
- Provide on-demand support to advisors, helping them navigate our product offerings and deliver high-quality service to their clients.
- Conduct product-level analysis within the context of current market conditions, offering clear and actionable insights.
- Collaborate with the Office of the CIO on strategic initiatives and special projects.
- Completion of the CIM and/or CFA Level 1
- Licensed as a Portfolio Manager authorized to manage discretionary accounts with a CIRO-regulated investment dealer.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in the financial industry, with a focus on financial analysis or investment due diligence.
- Proven experience working directly with clients in an advisory or relationship management capacity.
- Strong interpersonal and sales skills, both in person and over the phone.
- Undergraduate degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field.
- Highly self-motivated with a strong work ethic and a long-term commitment to building a career as a financial professional and portfolio manager.
