Job Summary

The Allocation Analyst is responsible for analyzing inventory levels, sales trends, and customer demand to create optimized product allocation strategies. This role works closely with the planning, sales, and logistics teams to ensure product availability across wholesale partners, contributing directly to revenue and invoicing targets. The role also includes coordinating the on-time delivery of major accounts with strict shipping windows.

Responsible For

  • Maximize order fulfillment across both distribution centers.
  • Execute allocations across multiple accounts, considering sales performance, account profiles, credit status, and inventory availability.
  • Analyze inventory levels and monitor sell-through performance to adjust weekly allocation strategies.
  • Produce monthly invoicing forecasts based on supply vs. demand (order match).
  • Ensure orders are directed to the appropriate distribution center.
  • Analyze and execute inter-warehouse stock transfers (e.g., from BG to CA).
  • Validate all allocations by developing and maintaining robust validation processes.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives in allocation processes and inventory optimization.
  • Develop summary reports and deliver weekly analyses on allocation and inventory performance.
  • Build strong cross-functional relationships with Planning, Production, Sales, and Operations teams.
  • Monitor and follow up on incoming production to support timely and accurate allocation planning.
  • Conduct size ratio analysis and support the development of seasonal size breakdown tools.
  • Support the Allocation Manager with in-season business analysis and reporting.
  • Major Accounts Management:
  • Manage allocation activities for key accounts, ensuring timely order release.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact between the allocation team and sales.
  • Collaborate with production teams to align manufacturing timelines with account-specific requirements.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Retail, Supply Chain, Finance, or a related field.
  • 1–3 years of experience in allocation, planning, inventory management, or a related analytical role (wholesale or retail experience preferred).
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, etc.)
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Bilingual (French and English)
