We are looking for a diligent and energetic Senior Deskside Consultant for our Toronto branch to support our Managed IT Services team! In this role, you will leverage your excellent technical and customer experience skills, while building your knowledge and growing a career with Long View.
A Day in the Life:
- Provide on-premise Tier I, II and III deskside and help desk support in an Office 365 and Azure Cloud environment
- Support the administration of MS Windows 7-11, MS Office 365, Skype for Business and Teams
- Coordinate troubleshooting efforts across multiple teams (Network, Infrastructure, Messaging)
- Support and administer Azure, on-premise Active Directory, and MS Exchange
- Configure, deploy, maintain, troubleshoot and support computer workstations, laptops, printers, mobile devices, phones and other computer and telecommunications equipment
- Install and support PCs, laptops, tablets and mobile hardware and software
- Track and escalate outages, working with vendors to troubleshoot issues and source solutions
- 7+ years of related IT experience
- Knowledge of server operations, infrastructure, web interfaces, and remote access tools
- Experience with remote support, Microsoft O365, Active Directory, and Windows and Mac environments
- Ability to diagnose, research and solve technical and data issues independently
- Capacity to work with ticketing systems
- Excellent problem-solving, communication and multitasking skills
- Willingness and ability to be onsite 5 days a week
- Post-secondary education
- COMP TIA A+ certification
- ITIL certified
- Microsoft certifications
