Position Overview
Python developer supporting engineering test system development team. The candidate will be required to update existing test system platforms as well as provide a key role in new test system initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with engineers, product owners, implement test cases, and log test results
- Develop test software in Windows, using Python, for electronic sub-assemblies.
- Assisting in troubleshooting problems in a software production environment
- Understand the system under test
Education
- Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline
- 3 or more years of experience as a Python Software Developer
- Experience with C, C++, C# would be an asset
- Experience in process automation and automated testing of electronic sub-assemblies
- Experience with control interfaces for test and measurement equipment.
- Experience building robust operator interfaces
- Troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently in a multi-disciplinary team
