Your Role Within The Team

  • Monitor project budgets, commitments, expenditures, and forecasts.
  • Perform variance analysis and identify cost trends and risks.
  • Support monthly cost reporting and forecasting cycles.
  • Data Transformation & Reporting.
  • Extract, transform, and analyze data from Oracle and EcoSys.
  • Develop dashboards and reports to support project controls and decision-making.
  • Automate and streamline data workflows for efficiency and accuracy.
  • Project Setup & Execution Support.
  • Assist in the setup of project structures in EcoSys and Oracle.
  • Ensure proper cost coding, work breakdown structures (WBS), and control accounts.
  • Collaborate with project teams to align financial and execution strategies.
  • Stakeholder Engagement.
  • Interface with project managers, finance, and procurement teams.
  • Provide timely and accurate cost insights to support project reviews and governance.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Finance, Business, or a related field.
  • 0–5 years of experience in cost control, project controls, or financial analysis.
  • Experience in nuclear or other regulated industries is an asset.
  • Familiarity with Oracle Financials and EcoSys is highly preferred.
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Excel, Power BI, or similar tools.
  • Understanding of project lifecycle, cost management principles, and earned value.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
