Licensed Architect – Multi-Family (Remote – Ontario Licensed)
Location: Remote (Must be OAA Licensed)
Salary: CA$75,000.00 - CA$85,500.00/year

As Part Of a Remote, Independent Team, You’ll Lead And Deliver Detailed Design Packages, Ensuring Projects Are Buildable, Scalable, And Code-compliant. We’re Looking For Someone Who
- Enjoys working independently in a fully remote environment
- Brings strong technical knowledge of multi-family residential construction
- Can balance aesthetic design with constructability and efficiency
- Lead architectural design for low-rise residential projects up to 6 stories
- Create detailed construction drawings that support standardization and scalability
- Apply value engineering principles to design decisions
- Plan for efficiency and repeatability across multiple unit types
- Apply knowledge of mass timber, steel, and/or wood-frame construction techniques
- Ensure compliance with the Ontario Building Code and local zoning bylaws
- Collaborate with consultants and internal teams to align design intent with construction methods
- Participate in virtual project meetings and adjust designs based on coordination feedback
- Licensed Architect (OAA)
- Experience with low-rise residential or multifamily housing projects
- Strong understanding of steel/wood framing and/or mass timber construction
- Advanced proficiency in Revit (minimum 3 years), including family creation and management
- Ability to develop detailed, constructible working drawings
- Familiarity with efficient layouts, mechanical/wet wall alignment, and unit planning strategies
- Proven ability to work independently and remotely from concept through to permit issuance
- Experience stamping and issuing Ontario building permit drawings
